MACOUN, GALA, FUJI, CORTLAND, JONAGOLD, McINTOSH, RUBY MAC, GOLDEN SUPREME and maybe some Empires.

ON THE STAND we’ll have:

HONEYCRISP, GALA, FUJI, CORTLAND, McINTOSH, RUBY MAC and Macoun starting Wednesday.

You will also find our “summer” honey, gourds (an amazing selection this year!), pumpkins and cider

HONEY AND MORE

August 12th-

Peaches from south of here, Pennsylvania and So. Carolina, are tangy sweet and juicy. Ripening may take a few days at room temperature.  New England peaches should be available again next year.  (Deep freeze in February wiped out the buds this year).

The bees have been bringing in nectar since April. The Loosestrife in the muddy Bowers Brook marsh, and our Sunflowers & pumpkin flowers, are providing forage now. We’ve spend the last 2 days extracting, for the 2nd time this summer, and there is more to come!
Gingergold and Gravenstein apples, the best of the early apples are here.

Check the photos of all the things we grow here starting with raspberries in July and ending with Christmas trees in December.  Look at the newest post (at the top of the page) for what we have now.

Pick Your Own Apples and more

On the stand we have honey, pumpkins, decorative gourds, & of course, apples:   HONEYCRISP, Macoun, Golden Delicious, Gala, Cortland & McIntosh in peck and 1/2 peck.

Here is the scoop for PYO:

Honeycrisp apples are gone from the trees but we will have them at the stand for quite a while.

On the trees are Gala, Cortland, Macoun, McIntosh, Jonagold, Empire, Golden & Red Delicious, Granny Smith and Mutsu.

For most varieties you’ll need to look under branches and inside the trees.

It’s Apple & Peach Time

It’s September 1st and we are ready!  Honeycrisp and Gala are on the stand, and you can pick them too.  It’s slightly early, another week will will give them more flavor but if you are itching to have some fresh off the trees we have them.

Peaches are abundant now.  The stand is full and we will start Pick Your Own later this week.

Sad to say the blueberries are so scattered and scarce that picking is nearly impossible.  It was almost 2 months of picking, a long season, but it is still sad to see them go.
